Masters of Science
Graduates of the GIS masters program will:

  1. Understand the spatial aspects of an external client’s GIS needs and develop a practical project plan for addressing those needs
  2. Design, compile, and develop a spatial database and a set of analytical tools into a system appropriate to the problem
  3. Demonstrate a mastery of geographic analysis and cartographic skills
  4. Communicate the GIS project process and the results in written, oral, and graphic medias at a professional level.
