About This Workshop
The Project Management Institute (PMI®) certifies project management professionals (PMP®) through an extensive evaluation of experience and a comprehensive examination. This three-day workshop prepares participants for the PMP® Certification Exam through in-depth topic reviews of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), state-of-the-art courseware, and practice tests. Participants engage in exam simulations and preparation in order to develop a thorough understanding of exam material, core concepts and test-taking strategies.
Audience
While anyone may enroll, this course is intended for individuals meeting the experience requirements for the PMP® certification who desire a comprehensive, fast-paced review of the exam material and preparation techniques.
Credit Hours
This course provides 24 of the 35 academic contact hours required in Project Management education to be eligible for the PMP® examination.
Michael P. Toothman, PMP, instructor
Michael P. Toothman, PMP is a certified Project Management Professional and is the past president of the PMI® California Inland Empire Chapter. He has held a variety of leadership positions in the field of aviation electronics and communication, and has worked with several organizations including Rockwell Collins, Inc., American Airlines, Panasonic, Qantas Airways, FedEx, Japan Airlines, Omnitrans and the County of Riverside. Currently, Michael is director of IMS Flightdeck, a supplier of aircraft and flight-related electronics, as well as the Executive Director of ProjectDriven, LLC a project management consulting and educational services firm.
Michael teaches a variety of project management, information technology and organizational development courses at UC Riverside Extension. He is completing his certificate in Advanced Project Management through Stanford University
