kelly

Kelly Allen, C.P.A. has been employed by two of the world’s top accounting firms. He has performed audit, tax and consulting work for Nestlé, Shell, Mobil, Southern California Edison, Wells Fargo, Virgin Records, Baskin Robbins and numerous other publicly and privately held companies. Since opening his firm in 2005, Kelly has obtained specialty licenses in the fields of business valuation and financial forensics.  His firm specializes in litigation support and complex tax matters.

Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in economics from the University of Redlands.  Kelly has lectured at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels since 2005.

Eva Marie Beinsner, M.B.A. has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance and has worked as a controller for over 15 years in various industries. Currently, she is a business consultant assisting small-to-mid-size organizations with structural financial concerns, including cost analyses, internal controls and fraud mitigation.

Eva holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.  She serves as treasurer for the Management Institute of Accountants and has earned a certificate as a fraud examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Pete Bergevin, Ph.D. is a professor in the University of Redlands School of Business where he teaches a full range of accounting courses.  He is an expert in financial statement analysis, intellectual capital and financial reporting, revenue recognition, cash flow analysis and pension reporting.  He has edited an accounting textbook and published on topics such as pension loopholes, financial fraud and financial analysis of not-for-profits.

Pete earned his bachelor's degree from Salem State College and his master's and doctoral degrees from Arizona State University.

Barbara Bowlby, C.P.A. has worked in the staffing industry since 1993.  She opened the Ontario office for Robert Half International, Inc. in 1995 and recruits finance and accounting professionals at all levels.  She is on the board of directors of the Inland Empire chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a past president of the Inland Empire chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.

Barbara holds a bachelor's degree from Biola University and a master's degree from the University of Arizona.  She earned her accounting certificate from California State University, San Bernardino.

Ted

Ted Collins, M.B.A., C.P.A. is an accountant specializing in business valuation, litigation support and succession planning.  His practice focuses on closely held and family owned businesses.  Ted has served on the board of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inland Empire chapter, and is currently chair of the Society's litigation section.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and the National Association of Hispanic MBAs.

Ted holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Andrews University and a master's degree in business administration from Chapman University.

Curtis

Curtis R. Eakin, M.B.A., C.P.A. owns an accounting firm with offices in Orange and South Gate.  The firm provides general accounting, tax compliance, tax planning, estate planning, international taxation and wealth management services to a wide array of clients.  Curt's prior experience includes service with an international accounting firm, the Internal Revenue Service and the federal government's General Accounting Office.  Curt teaches courses in taxation, estate planning and ethics.

Curt has served on the administrative committee and the qualifications committee of the California Board of Accountancy, and he serves on the professional conduct committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Accountants, Orange County Estate Planning Council, Institute of Management Accountants and Super CPA Alliance.

Barbara

Barbara M. Feliciano, C.P.A. is CFO of Brethren Hillcrest Homes, a 52 acre senior living community in La Verne, California.  She has worked in senior living communities for over 20 years and has 25 years of non-profit financial management experience.  She served on the finance committee of Aging Services of California since 2005.  She has also served as a director of the Los Angeles chapter of California Certified Public Accountants and will join the Inland Empire chapter as a director in May.

Barbara earned her bachelor's degree form Cal Poly Pomona.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Technology Professional.  Barbara also holds a residential care facility administrator certificate and is certified as an aging services professional by the University of North Texas.

Alex Frazin, M.S., C.P.A. is currently a lecturer at the University of Redlands in the accounting division.  His areas of expertise include financial accounting, income tax and business law.  He has taught U.S. accounting principles, auditing standards and business law fundamentals in Russia, Egypt, Germany and Kazakhstan.  In addition, he has taught accounting courses locally at San Bernardino Valley College, California State University, San Bernardino, La Sierra University and Chaffey College.

Alex holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in accounting and financial management.  He is a certified public accountant.  Alex is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Patricia Hartley, M.B.A. has over 20 years experience as controller in the retail, manufacturing and construction fields.  She has taught accounting courses at Chaffey College, Riverside Community College and Mt. San Jacinto College.

Patricia holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration from the University of La Verne.  She also holds a credential in vocational education.  Patricia currently serves on the accounting advisory council at Chaffey College.

Maria

Maria C. Kazemi, C.P.A. is current audit manager at LaRue, Corrigan, McCormick and Teasdale LLP with expertise in financial statements, audits, internal controls analysis and business tax preparation.  Prior to this she served as a credit administration representative with the Walt Disney Company.

Maria holds a bachelor's degree in business administration form California State University, Northridge.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Alex

Alex A. Lemos, M.B.A., C.P.A. is the controller for Hanger 24 Craft Brewery.  Before joining Hangar 24 he had five years of experience in public accounting with Smith Marion & Co. as supervisor of the audit department.  He has served as a board member and officer for the Inland Empire chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Alex holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting concentration from California State University, San Bernardino, an a master's degree in business administration with a finance concentration from the University of Redlands School of Business.  He is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner.

Michael

Michael MacQueen, Ed.D. is currently associate professor for the University of Redlands School of Business where he teaches accounting.  Prior to this, Michael held senior management positions in the field of finance.  He has also served as adjunct professor at Chaffey College.

Michael holds a bachelor's degree in economics from University of California, Los Angeles, a master's degree in accounting from Cal Poly Pomona and a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from the University of La Verne.  His research interest is the effectiveness of the Sarbanese-Oxley Act in improving financial reporting.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also serves as chairman of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Inland Empire chapter.

Laurie Mitchell, Ph.D. has been the director of the accounting program at the University of Redlands since 2004.  She started her career at one of the big-four accounting firms, and served on the staff of the enforcement division and in the office of the chief accountant at the Securities and Exchange Commission.  She has taught at Claremont Mckenna College, Pomona College and Occidental College.

Laurie holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the College of William and Mary and a doctoral degree in accounting from Columbia University.  Her research interest is financial literacy.  She has served on the board of directors of California Jump$tart and American Funds Fixed Income Group.

Dwight

Dwight Nakata, C.P.A. is a partner at Yamada & Nakata, a full-service accounting firm, and has over 29 years of professional experience in accounting, financial planning and real estate finance.  Dwight is a certified financial planner, and his other certifications and licenses include FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 66, a California real estate license, and a California life and health insurance license.  He is active in many civic, community and non-profit organizations, and serves on the audit committee for the City of Orange.

Dwight holds a bachelor's degree in business accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.  He has earned a certificate in management development for entrepreneurs from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

G.Pantanini

Gianna M. Pantanini, B.A. is an accountant at Mellon, Johnson & Reardon, a multi-faceted certified public accounting and consulting firm serving clients throughout Southern California.

Gianna holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in psychology from the University of Redlands.  She is a member of CalCPA and is currently working towards becoming a licensed CPA.
