The Dr. Emily Culpepper Convocation Award

To celebrate the 20th year of our program and to mark the occasion we have created an award to be presented each year to an outstanding Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies student at our graduation Honors Convocation. We are proud to honor Dr. Emily Culpepper for her years of leadership and service with an award named in her honor.

Dr. Emily Erwin Culpepper is the founding Director of Women's Studies at the University of Redlands. She has been Director of Women’s Studies from September 1989 to 2008 with a joint appointment in Religious Studies.
