Biochemistry & Molecular Biology

The program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is designed to prepare students for careers in biochemistry and molecular biology, in the related fields of cell biology, microbiology, molecular genetics or in the health sciences.

As part of their training, students in the program complete four to six credits of research with a biology or chemistry faculty member.

Students who satisfactorily complete the required courses receive a bachelor of science degree with two majors, one in biology and one in chemistry.
