Bachelor of Arts

Graduates of the Asian Studies Program will be able to: 

  1. Actively chart an intentional course through the major. 
  2. Understand, speak, read and write an Asian language at an intermediate level of proficiency or above. 
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of Asia’s diverse cultures and rich history as relevant to a student’s area of emphasis. 
  4. Demonstrate capacity to conduct independent and interdisciplinary scholarly work on Asia.
