Program Learning Outcomes

Bachelor of Arts: Environmental Business

1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the interdisciplinary relationship of political, economic, ethical, and social aspects of local/global environmental issues as demonstrated through upper level class projects.
2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of economics, business, and accounting through their application in sustainable business practices.
3. Demonstrate a basic understanding of global biological and physical earth processes by integrating these concepts into capstone and upper level class projects
4. Create practical solutions to environmental issues through innovative business practices as shown through capstone projects and successful completion of internships at relevant organizations.
5. Create environmental business solutions from a geospatial perspective by constructing and incorporating effective maps into upper level course projects and capstone
6. Articulate an in-depth, interdisciplinary understanding of environmental sustainability issues through written and oral presentation.
