Future Plans: I am hoping to get another internship in Washington, DC, this summer, but this time on Capital Hill. Hopefully I will be able to land a job there by September, either on the Hill or at one of the government agencies, like the Environmental Protection Agency. I want to work for a few years to narrow my interests. I then would like to get my Masters in some kind of public policy, possibly environmental or energy policy. I'm also interested in human rights, gay rights, and education policy. I'd someday like to be some sort of policy consultant or a policy-maker myself, preferably on the federal level. I also plan to volunteer internationally, at some point, with an organization like the Peace Corps.
