Jasper’s Corner Homework Club was established at the University of Redlands in 2003. Jasper’s Corner provides youth from the community with free college tutors to help with homework for children grades K - 12. After requests from parents and discussions with Redlands Unified School District, the University decided to use its resources to provide a homework assistance program. Over the years Jasper’s Corner has continued to be successful and is the largest community service organization on campus, serving over 100 students from the community!
Jasper’s Corner homework helpers, or tutors, are University of Redlands students who are interested in working with kids, passionate about academics, or simply looking to be involved. All of our tutors fill out an application, interview, submit a background check as well as a University Student Life Conduct check, and participate in various trainings and workshops throughout the year. Jasper’s Corner is committed to providing your child with not just a tutor, but also a mentor, role model, and a friend.
