Monique Stennis leads the University of Redlands’ social media program and is responsible for developing strategies to build engagement, audience, community and presence through the institution’s social media platforms.
With more than 15 years in marketing, Monique brings project management expertise to every assignment and is adept at integrating social media into public relations campaigns and special events management. She has developed communications programs for nonprofit, human resources, retail, arts and entertainment organizations.
Community service is an important element in her life. She is on the board of the Academy of Science and Engineering, an LA-based charter high school and is very active with the African American Board Leadership Institute. Monique has also served on the boards of the SoCal Women’s Health Conference; National Council of Negro Women, San Gabriel Valley chapter; National Black MBA Association, LA chapter; and HBCU Campus Tours. In addition, she has served her community as a literacy volunteer for the Chino Community Library.
Monique is an adjunct professor of business who enjoys working with undergraduate students. She holds an MBA from the University of LaVerne and a bachelor in communications, with an emphasis in public relations and mass media from California State University, San Bernardino.
