The University of Redlands will host Nancy Jardini Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer for Fannie Mae as part of the School of Business Banta Center for Business Ethics and Society Lecture on March 5, 2013.

Nancy Jardini is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Fannie Mae’s compliance and ethics organization, including managing legal and regulatory compliance; developing and promoting the code of conduct; investigating allegations of misconduct; providing oversight for corporate anti-fraud, mortgage fraud and privacy programs; and managing Fannie Mae's regulatory relationships.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 2007, Jardini was the Chief of Criminal Investigation at the Internal Revenue Service, where she directed staff worldwide, including special agents who investigated criminal tax violations, Bank Secrecy Act violations, money laundering and other financial crimes. In this capacity, she partnered with the United States Department of Justice in the prosecution of these offenses. After earning her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University Jardini eventually served as a Federal Prosecutor who specialized in the investigation and prosecution of large-scale corporate financial crime.
