Join us in the Meditation Room for Yoga led by Mina Jain. The free class is held weekly on Tuesdays from 5:15pm to 6:45 pm.
This month we will learn Sun Salutation Yoga. Sun Salutation is the simultaneous meditation of movement and breath: it connects us with our souls. We will learn to move gracefully and synchronize the breath with the movement.
This energizing sequence is usually performed in the morning as a kind of prayer of the body expressing reverence for life while accessing the power and light of the sun. In the flow, we are focused in the present moment. We will learn to move slowly and mindfully to open and expand our hearts.
This class is easy, effective, and enjoyable. No experience is required. Try to come a little early as space in the Meditation Room is limited. The class is open to students, faculty, staff and the community.
