University of Redlands School of Business students can have the tuition for their last class paid for them as part of a new scholarship offered by the university.

Through the New Investment Scholarship, adult students who apply to the School of Business between January 2009 and December 2009 will receive the free class at the end of their programs. Students who withdraw from school during the year are not eligible for the scholarship, unless a reinstatement to the scholarship program is granted.

The goal of the program is to encourage students to remain in school and progressing toward a degree.

“The premise behind this scholarship is simple,” said Nancy Svenson, Associate Vice President of Enrollment Mangement. “You invest in yourself and stay enrolled until you complete the program, and we’ll invest in you by paying for your last class. It’s one way that we show that we believe in our students and their success.”

The School of Business offers a variety of degree programs and certificates for adult learners. Degree programs include the B.S. in Business, the B.A. in Management, the M.B.A. and the M.A. in Management.

School of Business programs are designed for working adults and are offered at one of eight Southern California campuses.
Programs emphasize critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication and collaboration in a global arena. Students receive executive coaching designed to help them strategize career and education goals, and to balance their personal and professional lives, along with their studies. Often, assignments are structured to allow students to immediately apply what they have learned in the workplace.
